No. Local Ollama models are free forever and never leave your machine — download the app and go. An account is only needed to run cloud models.

Which models can I run?

Every model you have in Ollama runs locally for free. Cloud access depends on your plan: Starter includes low-usage open source cloud models, and Plus and above include every cloud model — open source and closed.

What's the difference between the plans?

Model selection, how many cloud models can run at once, and how much cloud usage is included. More concurrent models and larger included usage as you move up.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are month-to-month and you keep unlimited local usage even without a subscription.
